A doctor of osteopathy (DO) is a medical practitioner that is equivalent is all respects to a medical doctor, but has additional and extensive training and expertise in the human muskuloskeletal system. When it comes to occupational health, A DO can provide the same skills as a medical doctor with the added benefit of extensive knowledge in manual medicine. This makes them a valuable asset in the workplace, particularly when it comes to treating employees who are on workers' compensation insurance.
